Calvin, a rescued bottle baby from Mystery Dog Rescue in San Antonio, TX, has been leash and harness trained since he was three months old. That combined with his easy going personality and love for food, Calvin has been the perfect adventure (read: brunch) companion.

When we are not out looking for the next brunch patio, we work on trick training. Calvin began learning tricks and commands such as 'sit' and 'turn around'  when he was four months old. Trick training is great for mental stimulation but also for bonding with your animal. Our first viral video was in 2019, where he jumped 8ft across the room from the counter to my arms. Most recently, the doorway to my guest room has been covered in increasing strips of tape while Calvin swishes his tail on the other side to prepare for take off.
